In order to discover our leadership qualities, we must get out of our comfort zones and habitual environments. The various unfamiliar tasks and the factor of uncertainty enable us to kick the leadership capacity of the individual and the group into higher gear.

 

 

 

We will leave the familiarity of the workplace behind and go out into an environment that allows for new experiences and learning, a challenging environment with an inherent factor of uncertainty and leadership tasks that will reflect our personal influence styles when it comes to various activities and circumstances. The process entails personal and group interrogation in the form of feedback that encourages the learning and integration of insights in the work environment.

 

Leaving your comfort zone means that participants will engage in variety tasks including:

- Personal tasks

- Team tasks

- Large group tasks

 

 

 

The tasks will enable us to examine our ability to deal with authority figures, peers and subordinates. Furthermore, at each stage we will test our skills in finding points of cooperation, communication and empowerment, as well as our abilities to let go and to delegate.

 

We will analyze and assess this  through a critical lens in order to observe and survey various aspects of leadership, such as releasing others’ potential and building a clear and trustful communication, as well as creating opportunities for adaption and growth.
